ABOUT US

The Word Is Alive Church began with a burning desire in Dr. Jerry Green's heart to do a work in the Low Country.  After many years of seeking the Lord, God commissioned him to do a tremendous work in the kingdom.  On February 5, 1989, The Word Is Alive Church held it's first service on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

 The Word Is Alive Church Vision is to mainly focus on families and help them realize the saving power of Jesus Christ; and to reach out to the downtrodden and traditionalist people and let them know that God wants them to give Him perfect praise.

The Mission of The Word Is Alive Church is to love, serve  and teach others the importance of living by  faith everyday; in order to please God and walk in the abundance of life.
